Off the hook: Musician Stunner acquitted for wife bashing

Harare- AWARD WINNING rapper Desmond Chideme better known by his moniker Stunner has been acquitted , Express Mail Zim can report. Chideme was accused of assaulting his estranged wife Dyyone Tafirenyika in April and he denied the charges.
Harare magistrate Evelyn Mashakure handed down ruling Friday and the flamboyant rapper was found not guilty.
His legal counsel Dumisani Mthombeni was elated and celebrated the victory on social media and urged Chideme to focus on his music.
Circumstances were that Chideme bashed Dyyone at a car park after she had refused to let him peruse his mobile phone amid suspicion of cheating.
Dyyone claimed the assault lasted for half an hour , a claim that Chideme quashed.
He revealed that his estranged wife was out to destroy him and he was losing show contracts
He sobbed in court forcing magistrate Mashakure adjourn and allow him time to calm down.
