Domboshava- THE late socialite Genius Kadungure’s sister Nelia was summoned by Chief Chinamhora in a dispute involving US$9 000 outstanding balance in respect of land purchase of the site where Genius built his head-turning mansion.

The seller’s daughter Dadirai Nhau claims that Ginimbi bought the land for US$13,000 but had not finished paying the amount by the time of his death on November 8 2020.

He is said to have paid only US$4 000.

Nhau said heR ailing father Shanda Kibiti Matope sold the land to Ginimbi in her presence although they misplaced the documentary evidence of the transaction.

“The headman Sabhuku Kadyausayi was present when the deal was struck and we tried to engage Nelia but she was evasive forcing us to approach the chief,” said Nhau.

The matter was postponed since Nelia failed to turn up citing poor health.
The land in question is located in Nyamande Village, Domboshava.
Nelia inherited her late brother’s estate and is the only surviving sibling.
