Traffic came to a standstill along Mutoko Road,Umwinsdale as friends,relatives and senior government officials made a beeline to Vice President Constantino Guvheya Dominic Chiwenga’s holy matrimonial union with his wife Colonel Miniyothabo Chiwenga Saturday afternoon, Express Mail Zim can report.
The wedding ceremony was held at St Gerald’s Catholic Church in Borrowdale Saturday morning before guests proceeding to the reception venue at Umwinzii in the leafy suburb of Umwinsdale.
The wedding reception is scheduled to finish at 8pm amid pomp and fanfare.
President Mnangagwa and the First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa were present.
Also present was Vice President Kembo Mohadi, Cabinet Ministers, senior Government officials, senior members of the security services, and senior ruling Zanu PF party officials.
Former First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe, former Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, several members of the diplomatic community are also present to witness the wedding.
