Mnangagwa sets by-elections date for recalled CCC MPs

Harare- PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has set February 3 2024 as the by-election date to replace six recalled Coalition for Change (CCC) MPs.

Speculative reports suggest that Tshabangu was sponsored by Zanu PF in its desperate bid to get a two-thirds majority.

He (Tshabangu) has also divided CCC with reports that founding member Tendai Biti is trading daggers with the movement’s leader Nelson Chamisa.
