Nyika’s ‘ kingdom ‘ crumbles , bid to regain control of church hits a snag

Marondera – FAMILY rivalry has torn apart Marondera based politician Kingdom Assemblies of God Spiritual Movement Crusaders apart ,Express Mail Zim can report.

The supposed heir to the throne Kingdom Nyika’s world is crumbling after his bid to gain control of the Assemblies of God-Spiritual Movement Crusaders (AOG) church flopped.

Nyika, a failed politician who has who been unsuccessfully contesting for the Marondera Central seat recently approached Headman Mubayiwa’s court seeking to ban AOG, a movement founded by his late father Francis Mabhindauko Nyika.

AOG is now led by Phillip Zinyama.
The Zinyamas and Nyikas are in laws.

Kingdom approached Headman Mubayiwa accusing AOG of implementing a doctrine that saw his daughter disowning him.
During the court hearing, Nyika’s daughter openly denied links with her father and told the gallery that he wasn’t her father because he never did anything for her not even “kana kunditengera hembe yemukati chaiyo, hapana chamakaita.”

Therefore she was at peace after ‘cutting ties’ with him.
Nyika’s video complaining about his daughter’s move has since gone viral on social media and online platforms.
Headman Mubayiwa unsuccessfully banned the church as he had no jurisdiction to do so.
Express Mail is reliably informed that the new AOG leadership refused to pay pastors and other staff salaries opting to engage voluntary preachers a move that angered many including the politician.

Nyika, a former MDC-Mutambara party member reportedly tried to enforce Headman Mubayiwa’s judgment and locked the gates at AOG premises in Cherima high Density Suburb.

The gates were later opened for the congregants.
In 2018, Nyika contested for the Marondera Central seat and polled only 57 votes.
