High Court suspends further recalls of CCC members

Harare-Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) has received a lifeline following High Court judge Tawanda Chitapi’s order suspending further recalls of CCC legislators, councillors and senators pending determination of the matter.

This follows a massive spate of recalls by self proclaimed interim secretary general, Tsabangu ,which has seen even the mayor Ian Makone being recalled thereby leaving the position vacant.

According to inside sources there is a crisis of sorts that has been created over the Mayoral post as there seems to be no suitable candidate except Jacob Mafume who proved his mettle when he was the chief policy maker of Harare twice.
