DJ SCAR SINS WITH SAINTS

By Prince Butawo

Harare:Post-Covid the art space has been disrupted with urban youths flowing into the nature of habit. Traditional watering spots have found it hard to keep up with the new outdoor enterprising vibe sessions planted across the capital.

While indoor spaces tried to stage a comeback it’s been mostly catastrophic as Dreams previously owned by the late Flamboyant Genius Ginimbi Kadingure barely survived 48 hours after relaunching under new ownership trading as The Heist. Enter Saints and Sinners with DJ Scar running the weekend decks and hope is back again.

Dj Scar was born in January 1994 and fell in love with music pre-teen. Stained by the decibels he put fingers on decks at 22 a decision which has seen him rock stages in 6 different countries.

He has headlined the Castle lager Braai festival, United Nations Culture day (Nairobi, Kenya), Vodacom festival Eastern Cape (South Africa), The Cloud (Mauritius) and with his belt heavy under he has ignited weekend vibes at Saints and Sinners.

He also doubles up as a guest radio Dj on Capitalk fm. Speaking exclusively to expressmailzim Dj Scar said,

“This summer is already hotter than usual and we about to take it a notch up. I have so much in-store including an EP of nothing but great vibes”

Christmas may be coming early as the city braces up for the last quarter of the year.
