Pretoria- TRAILBLAZER Ambassador Edd Branson keeps on breaking barriers and raising the Zimbabwe flag high .
The Investment Promotion and tourism promotion guru participated in the BRICS AFRICA Caucus with the Brics Business Council Friday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This business meeting took place as part of the BRICS South Africa series of events that have been lined up which will culminate in heads of States from BRICS and other countries gathering in Cape Town next week.
The Africa Caucus was a meeting hosted by CNBC Africa , the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency GGDA and the Gauteng Province department of Economic Development.
Athumani Mukayandika from the Tanzania Investment Promotion Centre, Saki Zamxaka the acting CEO of GGDA were some of the high level participants to the event.
It was revealed that over 40 countries have applied for membership to the BRICS.
Branson’s participation in the BRICS Business Council proves that Zimbabwe business people and citizens are embracing BRICS and positioning themselves to reap the rewards of new markets opened up by such platforms.
Branson is a renowned clergyman and philanthropist in Zimbabwe and beyond.
