Strongman disappoints Bulawayo fans
Bulawayo:STRONGMAN Arnold Zikhali left some of his fans in Bulawayo disappointed after he failed to show-up for the much-hyped All-You-Can-Eat Buffet at Chiefs Village Lounge today.
The organisers of the event released a poster announcing that the Oxman, who was set to showcase his eating abilities, was no longer part of the day-long festive, which went on in his absence.
Some of the fans who were already at the venue around Saturday mid-morning expressed disappointment with the development.
“We had he is no longer coming. Of course, we are regulars at Chiefs Village Lounge but we had come to just have a glimpse of his antics.
“We are still going to continue with our normal routines, but obviously we are disappointed,” said one of the merrymakers.
Although reasons for his no-show were not given, News Plug gathered that the Oxman misled the organisers on his availability yet he did not get clearance from his employers.
As if that was not enough, he went on to give ‘misleading’ reasons when he advised of his unavailability on the 11th hour.
And, for someone who is riding on short-lived celebrity status, Bulawayo’s no-show was a wrong turn.
His antics are like a bubble and it is not something that can keep someone in the limelight for a reasonable period.
His rise to fame is that kind of a rage that runs through the internet.
It is kind of an easy come, easy go dynamic.
