United Kingdom – West Prop chief executive Ken Sharpe has been awarded the Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Business leadership at the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards in the United Kingdom.
The real estate and property development guru was recognised for his numerous projects under the mantra “Bringing Dubai to Zimbabwe”.
This has seen development of affordable lifestyle gated communities and Pomona City (city within a city).
There is also Pokugara which has since received major uptake from homeseekers including celebrities .
In his citation ,ZAA founder Conrad Mwanza said:
“The award is in recognition of your inspirational business leadership and philanthropy in the course of your career.”
Sharpe , through West Prop, has embarked on several corporate responsibility programmes including the rehabilitation of the dilapidated Greenwood Park in conjunction with Harare City Council.
