Zimboy throws back punches at Nadia Nakai
Harare- CHANGAMIRE Awards founder Tafadzwa ‘Zimboy’ Muchechetere has hit back at South Africa based artiste Nadia Nakai who accused him of being a con artist and failing to pay her.
Nakai was a special guest at the awards ceremony in Harare and she claims that Zimboy neglected to pay her her appearance fee and lack of proffesionalism.
In an interview with Boyz dzeTonaz founder Denford Jiro on his Denny J show,Zimboy said Nakai wasted time doing make-up and he could not afford to inconvenience other stakeholders and nominated artistes.
“She started having makeup.So her makeup lasted from 9pm till past 11pm .
“I was just seated there in the lobby and waited for long.
” She wasted time and it’s a pity that I have not been given a platform to say my side of the story,” said Zimboy.
He further alleged that Nakai refused to walk on the red carpet much to the dissapointment of sponsors.
Nakai went on Instagram to diss Zimboy and advised her followers not to work with him.
Meanwhile, Nakai broke down into tears during her late lover’s and rapper AKA at a memorial service held in Sandton.
Can I simply say what a relief to uncover somebody that truly understands what they are discussing over the internet. You certainly know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. A lot more people must look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you are not more popular given that you most certainly have the gift.
