Adios: De- Mbare part ways with head coach Ndiraya

Harare- DYNAMOS Football Club head coach Tonderayi Ndiraya is set to part ways with arguably the country’s most popular club as his contract will not be renewed, Express Mail Zim can report.

It is due to expire on December 31 2022

The reason for the non-renewal were not made clear in an announcement made Tuesday.

The club however categorically stated that they were at pains to reach the decision with their ” son whose loyalty has never been doubted”

Wrote the club spokesperson Tinashe Farawo:

“It is with regret that we have reached this difficult decision but Tonderai
Ndiraya will always be remembered for his contribution to Dynamos both as a player and Coach”

The club however made an emphasis on the fact that they value his contribution to the club.

” This development does not dwarf the work Ndiraya has done, ” further reads the statement.

Ndiraya has been barking orders from the bench for the club for four years and unfortunately did not manage to clinch any major title but managed to sit on the third position in this year’s Castle Lager Premier League.

Lately, fans were not impressed with his success rate having managed to squeeze a draw in the last match against arch-rivals Caps United last Sunday at the giant National Sports Stadium which was almost empty.

Former De-Mbare captain Murape Murape bemoaned what he described as the lack of “entertaining football” for the poor attendance.

Ndiraya’s replacement still remains a closely guarded secret but a section of the Glamour Boys’ fans are pushing for Murape Murape who is however yet to prove his mettle as a coach despite his deft touches in the field of play.

It is also not clear yet if Ndiraya will get his ‘pool car’ as a golden handshake .
