High Court outlaws Zupco monopoly, paves way for Kombis return

Harare- HIGH Court has outlawed the 2020 legislation which literally rendered ZUPCO the sole operator in the public transport sector, Express Mail Zim can report.

The development technically paves way for private operators to offer bus and commuter omnibus services.

These operators had been left in the woods and surviving on illegal operation popularly known as Mushikashika.

The break of this monopoly was welcomed by private transport operators.
