Female entrepreneur ventures into manufacturing sector
Harare- A youthful Harare based entrepreneur with interest in vehicle insurance has diversified her enterprise and had also branched into the manufacturing industry.
Born Runyararo Mavi, the entrepreneur has ventures into manufacturing of detergents under the banner Bututu Investments.
The company has managed to make strides after launching early this year.
” We are slowly penetrating the market which you know has many players.
“However, we use innovation to create an edge over our competitors.
“We thank the Second Republic for creating opportunities to female entrepreneurs like us but we urge government to open more lines of credit and loans to budding entrepreneurs like myself,” she said.
Asked on how she balances family and business, the family woman said its all about planning.
“What you simply need is proper planning and in my case I work with my husband who is very supportive,” said Mavi.
Their products include foam bath, dishwashers and toilet cleaners and can be found in several retail outlets.
