ABC auctions heist: 1 suspect shot dead

Harare- POLICE details shot and killed a suspected armed robber who was part of the US$1.4 million ABC auction heist Wednesday .

The deceased was identified as Trymore Bondamakara and he was shot in Epworth after a movie- style shoot-out.

Two of Bondamakara’s accomplices were arrested and are assisting police with investigations.

The robbery occured at ABC Auctions ,Seke Road in the wee hours of Saturday morning where the gang was armed with four pistols.

One gang member is on the run.
