Tragic: Road accident claims 2 lives at PaTuku

Harare- Two friends perished when the car they were traveling in rammed into a pre-cast wall in Highfield Thursday morning, Express Mail Zim has learnt.

The accident occured at a place popularly known as PaTuku where there is graffiti of the late national hero Oliver Mtukudzi.

The place has become a ‘black spot’ as several lives have been lost. 

Residents called the Harare City Council to construct more humps to enable speeding kombi drivers to slow down as they rush for passengers at nearby Machipisa shopping centre.

“These two boys were supposed to be part of the bridal team for a wedding due on Saturday,” said one resident who wailed at the scene.
