Just In: Tapiwa Makore’s alleged killers freed

Harare- THE alleged murderers of 11-year old Tapiwa Makore have been freed Thursday.

The duo of Maud Hunidzarira and his uncle Thanks Makore have been found not guilty.

The prosecution withdrew charges against them at the close of the State’s case.

The State failed to provide evidence against the two in connection with the murder.

The matter grabbed the nation’s attention and was punctuated with drama as one of the witnesses went hostile in court.

Tapiwa was last seen on September 17 while tending to his parents’ garden in Murewa.

His torso was found the following morning with some parts, including the head, missing.
