De-Mbare fans bay for Ndiraya’s blood

Harare- KNIVES have been drawn against Dynamos head coach  Tonderai Ndiraya with fans clamoring for his sacking following a string of poor performance, Express Mail Zim can report.

De-Mbare suffered a 0-1 loss to Ngezi Platinum Stars in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at the National Sports Stadium  Sunday.

Disgruntled  fans  stormed the dressing room as they bayed for the gaffer’s blood.

The Ngezi defeat left De-Mbare eleven points behind log leaders FC Platinum, with just six matches before the end of the campaign.

De-Mbare  trailed  in the third minute after  Delic Murimba slotted the ball behind the nets after a good show in the middle of the park.

DeMbare now sits in third position, a point behind Chicken Inn who beat WhaWha on Saturday.

Overzealous security personnel manhandled an Express Mail Zim journalist and confiscated the camera ,blocking her from filming the melee.

Ndiraya was however unperturbed and said fans have exceeded expectations.

“Look, those are fans who want to win each and every game but football doesn’t work that way. Sometimes you win some matches, sometimes you lose some,” Ndiraya said.

De-Mbare has had bad luck when playing against Ngezi, having last found the back of the net in 2017, five months before the military intervention. Ndiraya has been in charge of the country ‘s most popular football club for three years.
