Former VP Mohadi niece in trouble over US$38k bank ‘miracle money’ boob
Harare- FORMER Vice-President Kembo Mohadi’s niece and Children of War Veterans Association (Cozwa) leader Phiona Riekert reportedly squandered US$38 000 which was erroneously deposited in her bank account, Express Mail Zim can exclusively reveal.
Sources privy to the matter told this publication that the businesswoman whose tentacles spread in energy and mining received the money sometime this year.
The bank alerted her of the error but she went ahead and used the money prompting the bank to take legal action .
She appeared in court last week charged with fraud and was remanded out of custody.
Riecket is a well known Zanu PF apologist who was once accused of causing a reign of terror attacking opposition along with one Munyaradzi Shoko.
She has a fledging business empire and owns Upland Gas which competes well on the market coupled with a string of mining claims in Masvingo province.

At one point her daughter’s seemingly raunchy picture with Mohadi in his office made waves on the webosphere as social media users made fallacious insinuations inspired by the embattled politician’s battered reputation as a love rat.
As a general rule, banks can reverse a payment made in error only with the consent of the person who received it, and in this case Riecket failed to cooperate compelling the bank and the intended recipient to take legal action.
