The beauty of Royal Harare Golf Club is that it is nestled in the heart of Harare.
It boasts of a rich history dating back to 1898.
It was founded by a group of passionate golfers and the iconic course has evolved over the decades, transforming from a “links” style layout maintained by grazing livestock to the lush, parkland course you see today.
In 1979, the course was recognized as one of the world’s 50 best, outside the United States, by Golf Digest.
Despite its manicured beauty, Royal Harare is no pushover. The course rewards strategic shot selection and a keen understanding of course management, often surprising those who underestimate its challenges.
