Ariel Sibanda signs a two-year contract renewal

Highlanders gifts him with a Ford Ranger for dedication, long service

Bulawayo: VETERAN goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda has been gifted with a Ford Ranger for hi 16 years of dedicated service to Highlanders which has seen him being an integral part of the Highlanders team.

Sibanda has banged several trophies including the 2019 Chibuku Super Cup and the 2013 Mbada Diamonds Cup. He has also earned individual accolades, including four Goalkeeper of the Year awards.

On Tuesday, Sibanda has renewed his contract with the club for an additional two years.

Sibanda’s previous contract had expired on December 31, and negotiations for a new deal have now been successfully concluded.

The 34-year old goalie has dismissed speculation that he will take up a coaching role and said he will continue with his playing career.
